2020 NFL roadtrips where you can see three or more games in one weekend!
The 2020 NFL schedule has thrown up some delicious potential NFL road trip weekends, where you can see three NFL games day from Thursday to Monday night. As well as two weekends where you can see four games in four days, as there are two Sundays which allow for a rare double header.
Which NFL road trips do you fancy going to?
The first games are on the Thursday night slots. One could drive up to 1500 miles from Thursday to Sunday. The last fixture is the Monday night game and one can drive up to 1000 miles (which I did several times in 2008) after the Sunday game to the Monday night game.
Week 1
Texans at the Chiefs then drive 1087 miles to see the Browns at Ravens then drive 192 miles to see the Steelers at the Giants on Monday night.
= 1279 miles.
Texans at the Chiefs then drive 597 miles to see the Chargers at the Bengals then drive 636 miles to see the Steelers at the Giants on Monday night.
= 1233 miles.
Week 3
Dolphins at the Jags then drive 344 miles to see the Bears at the Falcons then drive 679 miles to see the Chiefs at the Ravens on Monday night.
= 1023 miles.
Week 4
Broncos at the Jets then drive 797 miles to see the Colts at the Bears then drive 208 miles to see the Falcons at the Packers on Monday night.
= 1005 miles.
Broncos at Jets then drive 636 miles to see the Jaguars at the Bengals then drive 506 miles to see the Falcons at Packers on Monday night.
= 1142 miles
Broncos at the Jets then drive 622 miles to see the Saints at the Lions then drive 490 miles to see the Falcons at the Packers on Monday night.
= 1112 miles.
Broncos at the Jets then drive 1202 to see the Patriots at the Chiefs then drive 626 miles to see the Falcons at the Packers on Monday night.

Week 5
Buccaneers at the Bears then drive 472 miles to see Bills at Titans then drive 534 miles to see the Chargers at the Saints on Monday night.

Buccaneers at the Bears then drive 717 miles to see the Panthers at the Falcons and then drive 473 miles to see the Chargers at the Saints on Monday night.
= 1190 miles
Week 6
Chiefs at the Bills then drive 706 miles to see the Texans at the Titans then drive 667 miles to see the Cardinals at the Cowboys on Monday night football.
= 1373 miles.
Week 8
Falcons at the Panthers then drive 835 miles to see the Patriots at the Bills then drive 400 miles to see the Buccaneers at the Giants on Monday night.
= 1235 miles.
Falcons at Panthers then drive 520 miles to see the Raiders at the Browns then drive 466 miles to see the Buccaneers at the Giants on Monday night.
= 986 miles.
Falcons at Panthers then drive 543 miles to see the Cowboys at the Eagles on Sunday night and then drive 91 miles to see the Buccaneers at the Giants on Monday night.
= 634 miles
Annoyingly with the Eagles hosting a Sunday night game, had the Redskins or the Ravens hosted a 1pm game a double header would have been possible here- but both of these teams are sadly on a bye.
Week 10 (4 games in 4 days. Including a double header)
Colts at the Titans then drive 534 miles to see the Eagles at the Giants at 1pm, then straight after the game drive 204 miles to see the Ravens at the Patriots on Sunday night football. It will be tight but doable if you leave the Giants in the 4th quarter. Then drive 985 miles to see the Vikings at the Bears. This is a long drive but worth doing to see the four games
= 1723 miles
Week 12 (Thanksgiving. 4 games in 4 days including a double header)
The Thanksgiving week gives us three Thursday games, which means yet another Double Header- but it is tight:
Texans at the Lions (at 12:30) then drive 292 miles to see the Ravens at the Steelers at 8:20pm KO. Either you miss the 4th quarter of the Lions, or the kick off for the Steelers- I’m saying do the former- Ravens at Steelers is not to be missed. Then drive 1108 miles to see the Dolphins at the Jets on Sunday then drive 91 miles to see the Seahawks at the Eagles on Monday night.
= 1491 miles.
Texans at Lions (at 12:30) then drive 292 miles to see the Ravens at the Steelers at 8:20pm that night, , then drive 572 miles to see the Cardinals at the Patriots on Sunday, then drive 295 miles to see the Seahawks at the Eagles on Monday night.
= 1159 miles
